SUMMARY:Poetry Reading & Book Signing with J. Claire, ‘Poet of the Wild
DESCRIPTION:Born in the heart of Pennsylvania and a native of both coasts, J. Claire—known as the “Poet of the Wild”—began writing poetry in her early teen years as a refuge through the storms of adolescence. As the tides of youth gave way to adulthood, her steadfast harbor remained the written word. Her work gathers together love, adventure, self-exploration, loss, and healing, often colliding with revelations found in growth, nature, and stillness. In 2025, her debut collection Revelry won two American Fiction Awards in Narrative and Nature Poetry, was a finalist in Contemporary and General Poetry, received recognition as a Distinguished Favorite in Poetry: Journeys, Memory, and the Self by the NYC Big Book Awards, and won the International Impact Book Award in Poetry: Personal and Confessional Poetry. That same year, J. Claire opened the Word is Art showcase at the Columbus Arts Festival.\nHer poetry, also featured in Harness Magazine, reflects a profound connection to nature, shaped by her life as an ultramarathon endurance athlete, avid traveler, and explorer. Always chasing beauty and returning to the wild, she continues to write as both a mirror and medicine, offering language that illuminates the inner landscapes we all carry.\nJoin us Wednesday, November 20th from 6pm to 8pm, to hear a captivating reading from J. Claire, meet and greet and book signing.\nYou are in for a treat as her poetry can touch any soul.\nFREE TO ATTEND, grab a copy of her book here:https://www.amazon.com/Revelry-R-J-Claire…/dp/B0F1V13NFY\n
