Verboten Brewing’s 9 year Anniversary!
We’re turning NINE! Friday & Saturday of March 11th & 12th we’ll be celebrating 9 years of Forbidden Beer! We’ll have special treats, deals, and 6 beer releases over the weekend for you all to enjoy! PLUS, on Saturday we’ll be doing a special beer & cupcake pairing to help enjoy the festivities brought to you by Loveland’s own Cupcake Gypsies!
Friday Releases:
1.) Other’s In Darkness – Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout (9th Anniversary Brew)
For our 9th Anniversary we are releasing our BIGGEST barrel-aged stout EVER! Clocking in at 14.5% ABV, this massive Imperial Stout was aged for 13 months in Axe and the Oak bourbon barrels. This none adjuncted barrel-aged stout has notes of rich chocolate mixed with vanilla, dark fruits, licorice & oak.

2.) I Must Break You – White Russian Imperial Stout
Our annual anniversary collaboration with Grossen Bart Brewery, a tradition started in 2014, is made with coffee from local roaster Nimbus Roasters & milk sugar!

3.) Cultivating Mass – Wee Heavy
Also known as a “strong scotch ale” the term “Wee Heavy” means “small heavy” This style ale has traits similar to those of barleywine. “Cultivating Mass” has aromas of toasted malt, caramel, & English biscuits with flavors of rich, sweet malt forward toffee, dark fruits, & a warming alcohol finish. Finishing at 10% ABV.

1.) Other’s In Darkness Black Forest – Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout w/ Chocolate, Cherry, Vanilla, & Milk Sugar (9th Anniversary Brew)
This version of our 9th Anniversary barrel-aged Imperial Stout was aged for 13 months in Axe and the Oak bourbon barrels. This adjuncted version of our barrel-aged imperial stout has the addition of Ghana cocoa husks, vanilla & dark / slightly tart cherry!
